Please put in your diaries the Annual General Meeting of the Ginninderra Cricket Club, to be held on Sunday 4th of September from 11am at Maggies. This is an important meeting to discuss the future direction of the club and includes voting on the principal officeholders of the club for 2011-12 season, presentation of financials, and to hear about important developments on several fronts including the Kippax redevelopment and the new nets proposal.
This an opportunity for people to understand what goes on within the club and contribute to what we are doing and where we are going, and I encourage everyone to attend and hear about the important developments in the lead up to another glorious season. If anyone would like to nominate for a role or position for the coming season (you don’t have to now, it can happen on the day), feel free to contact Rob or myself.
Also, outdoor pre-season training will commence on Sunday 11 September at KCG, from 10-12. With the season fast approaching (starts weekend of 8-9 October) important to get in as much training as you can now and be ready come season start. Reminder Tiges shirt is mandatory for training, if you don’t have one please see AK on the day.
