4′s extended it’s winning streak to 1 in a row with an excellent victory over Eastlake.
Tom Powell was superb in taking 5/30 off 7.5 overs including 2 in 2 balls in his first over. All the other bowlers chipped in with wickets – Davies 1/10 off 6, JWH Provan 1/25 off 4, BT 1/19 off 10, McCaughan 1/0 off 2 & Gez taking 1/19 off 5.
The fielding was outstanding (are you reading this Jeremy!) with us taking 8 catches one of which was a screamer taken by Jack Powell who sub-fielded because we only had 10 players. not bad for an 11 year old.
The target was chased down with Shepard 16, Gez (and his fantastic new mullet) 26, BT 21* and the technically correct Davies 10* our main contributors.
Hoping for another win nad maybe a full side, if we are lucky next week.
