Norths 6/209 beat Ginninderra 106.
Unfortunately another loss for 4′s. Losing the toss we were sent into the field. We bowled reasonably well but our poor fielding and catching allowed Norths to reach 6/209 off their 50.
Davies had 3/36 off 10, T.Ryan 0/25 off 10, Thomson 2/44 off 10 and McCaughan with 1/28 off 9 were our best.
Matt Miles made had 4′s debut and had 0/21 off 3 but bowled much better than the figures indicated
Dylan Hess also debuted as keeper and after dropping an early chance (he was not the only one!!) he settled down nicely and did a solid job.
After a solid opening partership of 29 Stu Shepard was first out for 1…….yes that’s correct 1. Can’t wait for the 2 dayers to return so Stu and Trev can be unleashed at the top of the order. Unfortunately only 2 guys made double figures in JWH Provan (14) and another debutant Justin Murray with 15.
The captain played yet another embarassing innings getting dropped by the easiest catch in the history of the game while on 0. He then went on and punished the Norths bowling for a further 2 runs before getting out.
